Hálo is a design label, born in Lapland, based in Helsinki Finland. Launched in May 2017 by two friends, Marta Valtovirta and Jukka Puljujärvi, these two fashion professionals and ex-colleagues managed to create a brand that has already graced the covers of the fashion publications and gained a huge success among buyers, social media influencers, artists and actresses.

Inspired by the Arctic landscape and light phenomena, hálo shares eight seasons of Lapland through different collections. Depending of the time of the year the collection is inspired by the vividness of the northern lights, the delicateness of the midnight sun, colors of the fall foliage and the dark shades of the polar nights. This strongly reflects in material choices, shades of colors, different structures and unique prints designed by hálo. The collection offers timeless treasures, everyday silks, life-long investment pieces and exclusive collections. 

All hálo’s items are produced from high quality materials from European suppliers and produced in Europe by carefully hand-picked manufacturers.

Hálo x Reidar Särestöniemi

Hálo has an exclusivity to use painter Reidar Särestöniemi’s art in their collections. Hálo x Reidar Särestoniemi is a capsule collection designed exclusively by hálo. This exclusive collection is a recognition to a famous Finnish painter Reidar Särestöniemi (1925-1981) whose signature paintings are known around the world. 

From every sold item a percentage is donated to the museum of Reidar Särestöniemi.
