It is impossible not to recognize a piece of jewellery made by Linda Toye. Her trademark bright glowing beads and strong design stand her apart from the others. And that’s part of the unique charm of Toye’s work: it’s all hand-made by the artist in her Munkkiniemi studio, not far from downtown Helsinki. And so far they are not mass produced.

A strong personal touch and her story has been an important part of her brand.

“I feel strongly about there being too much stuff in the world, so I am very careful about what I use, how I use it, and not wasting anything,”
