ONAR is a Helsinki-based luxury heritage label specializing in shearling products. The brand was founded in 2014 by Finnish-Greek creative director Irene Kostas.

dream, stands for beautifully crafted products that last a lifetime. All products are locally and responsibly manufactured in Kastoria, in northern Greece, by highly skilled artisans. The area is, since the Silk Road, historically significant and well-known for leather crafts and manufacturing.

As a made-to-last sustainable luxury label ONAR prioritizes material traceability, ethical sourcing, and transparency. The lamb skins are a by-product of the food industry and sourcedfrom Europe: the UK, Greece, Italy, and Spain, and

ONAR is stocked at some of the most prestigious shops, such as Beaker in Korea, Harvey Nichols, Galeries La Fayette, and United Arrows in Japan. The brand has appeared in numerous fashion and style publications, including a wide range of Vogue and ELLE magazines. ONAR is known for previous collaborations with home design companies like the Italian Cassina and the Swiss Vitra-owned Artek.
